Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE)

DHFL’s Early Childhood Care & Education CSR programme is aimed at strengthening the delivery of the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) services to develop well-nurtured children with full growth opportunities.

DHFL has collaborated with the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra to deliver a comprehensive capacity building programme covering education, nutrition & health and infrastructure upgrade. Additionally, the programme focuses on stakeholder empowerment through forward and backward linkages.

The programme, designed with community at the forefront, encourages grassroots leaders to drive impact and sustainability.The programme is recognized as a best practice in the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra’s mobile app.

    Build capacity of anganwadi workers & helpers to deliver quality education

    Community based health & nutrition intervention for ASHA, ANM & Anganwadi workers

  • Infrastructure, Hygiene & Wash

    Create a model of a child-centric anganwadi centre with interesting teaching & learning aids for quality anganwadi experience with emphasis on hygiene, water & sanitation

  • Stakeholder Empowerment

    Creating a safety net for anganwadi workers through forward and backward linkages
