DHFL is led by Mr. Kapil Wadhawan, Chairman and Managing Director. An MBA (Finance) from Edith Cowan University, Perth Australia, he is ably supported by a team of more than 1318 professionals who are highly motivated, self driven & committed to providing the highest quality of service to the company’s customers.
The move from Executive Director on the board of DHFL to Chairman & Managing Director in October 2000 was as well-deserved as it was challenging. From innovative steps to making DHFL a world class financial services company, to being widely recognized as an industry expert, from a dynamic leader to a quick-decision maker, here is a man eagerly sought by policy makers and business leaders alike, on matters relating to the financial services sector. Mr. Wadhawan contributes immensely to philanthropy and the weaker sections of society.
Mr. Anil Sachidanand – President, DHFL
Mr. Anil Sachidanand is hailed as the mortgage banking financial expert and has been active in the residential mortgage business for more than two decades. Anil has diverse experiences in companies such as IDBI Bank where he was the Head, Retail Mortgage and HDFC Bank as the Business Head, Mortgages. He also has global exposure through the US based company, Adventity – Houston, Texas for four years. A veteran team builder with an innate ability to recruit, train and manage effective teams on a national scale. Mr. Sachidanand believes in delivering a consistent growth record and delivery of bottom line performance.
As the CEO of DHFL, one of India’s largest housing finance companies, he is primarily responsible for bringing in a strong focus to the retail side of the business. He has played a key role in improving productivity levels, increasing business volumes and making the company a dominant player in its sector.
Mr. Rajeev Sathe – COO, DHFL
Mr. Sathe is a senior banker with nearly three decades of diverse managerial experience in banking operations with State Bank of India. He has invaluable experience in credit in the rural and semi urban areas, retail banking, SSI and large corporates. Internationally, he has managed trade finance operations and IT in the USA.
He has developed and marketed financial and IT based banking products and has driven quality initiatives like six sigma in banking operations and provided management consultancy services for quality and productivity improvements in the manufacturing industry.
